Meet Daryl Wright, Head of Strategic Marketing

In each edition of bInformed, we interview a different member of the Bravura Solutions’ team. In this edition, we talk to Daryl Wright, Head of Strategic Marketing based in Sydney.

How long have you been with Bravura Solutions?
6.5 years

What does your role entail, what are your main areas of responsibility?
I am responsible for Marketing at Bravura. This includes product and corporate marketing including things like PR, Brand, websites and social media, conferences, marketing campaigns, and so on.

What are your views on Bravura Solutions’ achievements, which achievements in particular stand out for you, and why?
In my time here, Bravura has transformed into one of the leaders in its field and a leading global FinTech business. We have grown from about 500 people when I joined to around 1200 and from one implementation of Sonata to over 20 – that is an amazing level of growth in such a short period of time.

Where do you see Bravura Solutions heading, what is your vision for Bravura’s future?
As you will have seen from Bravura’s recent half year results, we are in great financial shape and we have a strong pipeline of opportunities that will drive growth for some time. This strength opens opportunities for new markets and products. In the near term the continued rapid advances in digital technology in both the back office and closer to the end client will, I think, continue to drive our clients demands and our investment in products and solutions.

What are your personal interests, what do you enjoy doing outside of work at Bravura Solutions?
I have a large family, four Kids, so that tends to keep me more than busy. If I get the chance I like to snorkel and occasionally SCUBA dive.

Who is/has been your role model, why?
I would not say any one person. I have been lucky enough to have a number of mentors during my career and I have taken something from each of them.

What do you view as your biggest personal achievement?
Children and a happy family are what everyone always says, and with good reason, I am no different.
