About the role

You will be responsible for delivering quality, outcome-focused services to Bravura’s clients whilst mitigating and minimising the repetition of reoccurring incidents. You will also focus on key priorities and impacting incidents in an efficient manner utilising a web based service portal.

You’ll be relied on for application deployment and technical administration to support users of Bravura’s Sonata product and ancillary application services while ultimately improving the stability of the software.

  • 37.5 hours a week – flexible shifts covering 8am-6pm
  • Overtime will be required at times after weekday hours and on weekends

Your role sits within the Sonata Support team and will see you reporting to the Sonata Support Team Leader. Working cohesively with a collaborative, goal-driven team you will develop a deep understanding of Sonata whilst developing your skills with a team at the top of their game.

Main activities

  • The analysis and resolution of issues raised by Clients within given SLA’s
  • Informing clients of progress and resolution of issues raised
  • The deployment of application code
  • Technical housekeeping and administration

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

You’ll be an organised, customer centric problem solver with the ability to think analytically.

Other skills include: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distinguish between business and technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree and ITIL certification desirable
  • Proven experience of best practice application development methodologies and SQL is essential
  • Ability to develop basic application code using a modern object based language
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Working operational knowledge of ITIL standards is essential
  • An understanding of the service delivery processes
  • Ideally you will have gained experience in an IT related role within the Financial Services Industry
