Your new role

This will be a challenging yet rewarding role for someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment, loves to communicate and has the ability to pick things up quickly.

With the support of a 15-person global team, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the financial accountant with general ledger and reconciliations
  • Overseeing all areas of accounts payable
  • Fixed assets and intercompany reporting
  • Day to day communication with the global finance team
  • Archiving

You will also gain experience in:

  • Prepayments and accruals & preparing intercompany invoicing
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Fixed assets maintenance, intercompany matrix reporting
  • Manual and automated payments & drafting payment runs to creditors

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot tables and Vlookups)
  • You’re committed, hard-working and resilient; you’re a natural at solving problems and enjoy going that extra mile to find a solution
  • You demonstrate a ‘team player’ mentality with the willingness to learn
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • You continuously strive to improve processes and policies
  • You’re confident to work cohesively with the global team and communicate with the business and its senior stakeholders
  • You have worked with a large enterprise system including Oracle, SAP or Sun Systems
  • Bachelor qualified or studying part-time
