What you’ll be doing

In this role, your primary focus is to support clients during the full life-cycle implementation of new releases of Bravura’s Sonata platform. This includes owning the business requirements and business solution for your deliverables end to end within a project. You will be accountable for the delivery of high quality, well-formed requirements specifications, and for generation of estimates.

You’ll also be relied upon for your ability to work as part of a team and engage in successful collaboration with internal and external parties, and will have a track record of successful outcomes for work assigned.

You’ll report to the Head of Technical Consultancy, who is approachable and delivery focused as well as offering a relaxed and open communication style. Working cohesively with the team you will develop a deep understanding of Sonata whilst developing your skills with a team at the top of their game.

Main activities

  • Interpret and understand business problems
  • Estimate and work within agreed commercials
  • Produce effective specifications to elicit and capture client’s business requirements
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Use product and domain knowledge to guide and challenge the client where needed
  • Support clients during preliminary implementation and testing of developed solutions or products
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams in different regions to ensure successful outcomes
  • Working on defined implementation tasks often involving immediate action or short-term planning
  • Functional demonstrations and presentations on the overall use of the system
  • Supporting development of testing scripts and triaging of client UAT testing

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

You will be a strong analytical thinker, self-motivated with a clear and concise consultative approach.

  • You will have between 6-8 years’ working experience ideally within the Financial Services Industry, with at least 2 years working as a Business Analyst
  • Proven experience of the end to end lifecycle of change and implementation of projects
  • Have a proven track record of successfully working in a client facing capacity within a large commercial environment
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office tools particularly Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Business Process Modelling tools
  • Understanding and application of change management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, UML Modelling)
  • An aptitude for working to challenging deadlines and budgets on a continual basis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distinguish between business and technical audiences #LI-PRIORITY
