What you’ll be doing

In this role you’ll be the first point of contact and the face of the IT Team in Sydney, backed and supported by the broader teams in APAC across support, infrastructure and security.  You’ll be relied on for your excellent customer service skills, with a reputation for resolving IT queries in a helpful, friendly way.

You’ll be exposed to a variety of leading edge technologies, both hardware and software, and will require a strong understanding of IT fundamentals to help diagnose and resolve, or escalate the issue to the right team. You’ll also be required to perform manual tasks such as relocating end-user hardware and setting up audio/visual equipment.

Being a software house, Bravura always has a strong push for the latest and greatest in terms of IT, and with a flat structure, this role will see you building relationships with senior management and taking on more responsibilities as you progress.

Main activities

  • Liaising with staff regarding IT queries
  • Configure, install, and support desktop hardware
  • Collaboration with wider team on wiping and cleaning of asset returns
  • Routine tasks such as backups, file transfers, emails and server administration (with support)
  • User administration via active directories.

Other skills include:

  • Knowledge of upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing personal computers in a network environment
  • Proven background using Linux OS with a basic understanding of its GUI and CLI components
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distinguish between business and technical audiences
  • Ability to manage optimal installation configurations in a complex network environment
  • Exposure to VMWare technologies and administering virtual machines
  • MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional)
  • Established experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving is required to succeed. #LI-PRIORITY
