About the role

The GFAS project team is responsible for successful delivery of GFAS project work within Bravura’s client base.

The role is responsible for the definition of the GFAS solution based on provided Client requirements for each enhancement and produces associated documentation for approval by internal stakeholders and the Client.


Main activities

  • Creating and analysing business requirements associated with enhancement requests
  • Producing Functional Requirement Documents
  • Participating in all aspects of the scrum lifecycle
  • Interfacing with the wider GFAS project team including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, retrospectives and continuous improvement of the team
  • Owning client communication with all parties involved in the project lifecycle
  • Reviewing high level estimates, requirements specifications, design documentation and test scripts
  • Proactively engaging with development and testing teams to monitor the system change process and ensure that the original requirements are met effectively
  • Ensuring regular communication is maintained at all levels with all parties involved in the project life cycle to ensure a quality deliverable that meets the Clients’ requirements.
  • Maintaining lifecycle documentation and functional guides

To be successful in this role candidates will require:



  • Thorough understanding of the GFAS platform
  • Strong knowledge of UK/European Retail Funds and Transfer Agency industry
  • A proven understanding of the software development life cycle and structured analysis techniques


  • Good working knowledge of other TA platforms e.g. Rufus / GTAS / MFTA / ICON
  • Exposure to working within a professional services organisation
  • Experience of working within an agile methodology e.g. scrum



  • Extensive experience working on the GFAS platform
  • Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within a financial services environment
