About the role

The GFAS Project Manager role sits within the GFAS project team at Bravura Solutions (UK) Limited. The GFAS project team is responsible for successful delivery of GFAS project work within Bravura’s client base.

The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining plans and tracking deliverables of all GFAS projects within Bravura’s Transfer Agency clients.

The Project Manager will have responsibility for GFAS projects with ownership of activities including: resource management, budget management, risk & issue management, and change request management.

Main activities

  • Create and deliver project plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • To monitor the project progress and take any corrective actions to ensure the project is delivered within the agreed timescales and costs
  • To co-ordinate internal resources to deliver the components of the implementation by the agreed deadlines
  • To maintain strict change control procedures and ensure all changes (especially budget changes) are communicated internally and to the client
  • To ensure that the project adheres to bravura’s methodology
  • To produce monthly reports of effort expended and the associated costs for billing to clients.
  • To understand the main aspects of the implementation to ensure a successful implementation
  • To gain an overview of the clients business, systems and internal structures to ensure a successful implementation
  • To ensure all issues are progressed and resolved so that the project is implemented with no outstanding problems, that can’t be mitigated in some way.
  • To be the main point of contact between the client and bravura for all tasks and issues for the duration of the project
  • To ensure that the project implementation is fully documented to bravura standards
  • To provide project status reporting to the client

To be successful in this role candidates will require:



  • Thorough understanding of the GFAS platform
  • Strong knowledge of UK/European Retail Funds and Transfer Agency industry
  • A proven understanding of the software development life cycle and structured analysis techniques


  • Good working knowledge of other TA platforms e.g. Rufus / GTAS / MFTA / ICON
  • Exposure to working within a professional services organisation
  • Experience of working within an agile methodology e.g. scrum



  • Extensive experience working on the GFAS platform
  • Proven experience working as a Project Manager within a financial services environment
