About the role

You will be joining an experienced scrum team of 8, working with a supportive manager whose top priority is coaching you. The great thing about this position is you won’t be forced to specialise in a specific function but rather be given exposure to both Testing and Business Analyst activities from the onset, providing you the opportunity to choose the career road map you most desire.

Main activities

  • Agile development ceremonies (planning, daily stand ups, retros)
  • Contribute to the success of the testing life-cycle within projects from test planning, test analysis and design, test execution and test reporting/completion.
  • Assists in identifying and communicating any testing risks and mitigate accordingly.
  • Reviews solutions documents to ensure that they meet acceptance criteria from a testing perspective.
  • Preparing release notes in support of release readiness.
  • Respond to issues in a timely manner and provide support to stakeholders as needed.
  • Raises issues/defects and escalate within the agreed defect management process.

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • You demonstrate a love to build or evolve test frameworks and tools to help teams build and deploy beautiful software
  • You’re comfortable using and learning both manual and automated test systems including Test Complete, VBScript, Selenium or Cucumber
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You embrace the agile philosophy
  • Innovative and able to devise creative solutions to difficult problems
