What you’ll be doing

Learn to drive quality assurance and innovation through top of the line automated testing techniques and tools. You’ll also assist with reviewing and contributing to technical designs, contributing to creating and developing of test plans, implementation and execution of automated tests.

Main activities

  • Be involved in daily stand-ups and requirement walkthroughs
  • Assist with conducting analysis from solutions documents and ensure that test requirements are traceable back to business requirements
  • Design and create test scripts using VB Script
  • Contribute to the building of a Continuous Integration (CI) environment
  • Identify required improvements in the test and development processes

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • You achieved strong academics with the desire to accelerate your career in development
  • Aptitude for continuous self-learning and a natural at solving problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence in talking to peers
  • An entry level understanding of risk-based and high value testing
  • Understands SDLC methodologies, especially Agile development practices
  • Basic knowledge or an understanding of the below tools is preferred but not essential:
    • XML and RDBMS
    • Selenium and SoapUI
    • JavaScript, Groovy and object-orientated programming
