Be the Global Group Tax Manager for a leading ASX listed Software Solutions business specialising in the Financial Services domain.

 

What you’ll be doing

Take accountability for the effective administration of the Global Group’s tax environment and oversee all new developments including its implications for the business and finance systems and processes.  You will mentor junior finance team member on tax matters, whilst encouraging and initiating knowledge sharing across projects.

Main activities

  • Manage the effective tax rate
  • Day to day relationship management with Lenders and transactional banks
  • Optimising cash positions in all jurisdictions and preparing dividend proposals
  • Consultation with internal resources and third-party service providers
  • Transfer pricing, tax forecasting and planning as well as income tax compliance
  • Initiate Inter-company settlement requirements

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • You are working or have worked in a Tax Advisory role for one of the Big 5 firms
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Able to demonstrate your understanding to global tax across multiple jurisdictions, ideally within EMEA and APAC
  • Preferably CA/CPA qualified
  • In-depth experience with Transfer pricing critical
  • Proven client facing consultancy and relationship skills within a large commercial environment
  • An aptitude for working to challenging deadlines and budgets on a continual basis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distinguish between business and technical audiences
  • You will enjoy working collaboratively and demonstrate a well-organised approach to day to day work.
  • Experience with CCH Tox Integrator preferred
