About the role

Bravura Solutions is currently hiring for a Head of Managed Services to join our senior leadership team in London. The role boasts the opportunity to take ownership of a new position and shape the future of the Managed Service offering at Bravura. Reporting into our CIO, you will have the autonomy to shape the position and the function ensuring that a profitable and sustainable service offering is delivered.

You will be responsible for delivering the full lifecycle of Managed Cloud Service offerings, including public and private cloud. We are looking for an experienced professional who will consistently challenge to improve the solutions offered, the methodology and approach to delivery and the commercial proposition. Due to the nature of Bravura you will have exposure to the wider business, working closely with Sales, Consulting and IT. You will be required to provide direction and guidance to execute and grow a profit oriented, client focused Managed Services function.

With responsibility covering Bravura’s full product set, the role requires complete customer lifecycle involvement from presales, commercial pricing and contracting, to implementation and ongoing management.

This role delivers strong technical, commercial and people leadership for the Managed Cloud Services function at Bravura, ultimately enabling a profitable and sustainable service offering. The Head of Managed Cloud Services focuses on creating new and maintaining existing internal and external relationships, delivering client outcomes, executing business development activities and 3rd party supplier management.

Main activities

  • • Planning & Strategy - Provide leadership and direction for the Managed Services function, ensuring an appropriate and robust Managed Services operational framework is in place
  • • Client Relationships & Business Development - Manage the public face of Bravura’s Managed Services offering, ensuring business development and marketing activities are conducted effectively while actively developing new business
  • • Delivery - Provide an outsourced service to clients that meets the contracted SLAs
  • • Outsourced Partners & Vendors - Manage relationships with a network of internal and external third party suppliers
  • • Team Leadership - Provide leadership in establishing a compelling Managed Services offering

This is an exciting opportunity for you to get involved in various aspects of the business and take ownership of a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: third party commercial relationship management, solution architecture, infrastructure implementation management, third party application management and deployment, application performance monitoring, database administration and third line problem management.

  • Proven experience delivering a managed service offering in a global organisation
  • Strong operational experience with outsourced managed services with the ability to challenge legal & fiscal aspects of 3rd party supplier partnerships
  • Strong working knowledge of the following areas: networking & infrastructure, IT Security, database architecture & administration, capacity planning
  • Excellent supplier management and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding client relationship skills, with an ability to influence and negotiate whilst delivering on client outcomes
  • Successful leader with the ability to coach, delegate, mentor and develop others
  • Commercially and financially astute with the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction and continuous improvement
  • Articulate with strong communication skills and a proven ability to tailor communication to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience in a Financial Services Software environment would be highly advantageous #LI-PRIORITY
