About the Role

You will be a key member of the Corporate IT team for the EMEA region where  you will be responsible for providing IT Support for Bravura’s internal staff. The role will require support across two domains and provide the opportunity to interact with a variety of stakeholders. You will be based in the London office but may have the occasional chance to travel across our UK offices.

Main activities

  • Undertake desktop, and laptop builds, deploying the standard image at that time
  • Makes changes to the standard build for a given machine type
  • Deploy software to desktops, laptops and VDIs
  • Set-up, amend, or remove email accounts and other email related items such as distribution lists, group mail boxes, etc.
  • Undertake activities as part of the staff joiner and leaver processes, such account creation/removal, VPN access controls, etc.
  • Investigate issues experienced by users, determine the issue and implement a resolution within agreed time standards and practices
  • To support on-site executives with their IT issues
  • When requested, create a SCCM package for automated software implementation
  • Undertake team call management system administration i.e. raising and tracking of items with Bravura’s call management system
  • Beyond call logging you would provide initial triage of the reported issues, problem or request, seeking management agreed for a recommended action, assign work as defined by procedures and provide feedback to users on incident and request status
  • To help maintain a repository of team information and documentation

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • A detailed understanding of and proficient in the use of the Windows operating system, of multiple versions, and confident use of Microsoft Office software
  • A detailed understanding of and proficient in the use of Microsoft tooling
  • Familiar in all aspects of domain controllers
  • A strong customer service ethos, and a commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral with the ability to communicate issues, ideas, and facts to users and technical teams, including Bravura’s Executives
  • Effective organisational skills
  • A willingness to learn and use new skills in PC and VDI support work
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft software and IT tools, including SCCM
