What you’ll be doing

With an agile mindset and a ‘can do’ attitude, your work will influence and inspires others. You will join a fast-paced scrum team of approximately 10 in creating, innovating and inventing robust solutions to meet our customers’ emerging business requirements. As a result, you will be able to admire your creation at the end.

Main activities

  • Develop and execute effective unit and function tests of software changes
  • Undertake troubleshooting and problem solving of software defects
  • Debug code to identify and rectify defects or data issues
  • Complete entry-level software design and estimation activities for software changes
  • Provide assistance as required to other Developers, Business and Test Analysts
  • Participate in software builds and assist with preparation and delivery of releases

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • You’re comfortable using and learning a variety of Java languages, frameworks and web services
  • You have the passion for modern software development principles to build and deploy beautiful software
  • Achieved strong academics with the desire to accelerate your career in development
  • Having worked for 1 – 3 years, you demonstrate an aptitude for continuous self-learning
  • You’re a natural at solving problems
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You love to work with new technologies and pro-active in developing new skills
  • You do not fear failure because it is inevitable, you learn from it and it makes you stronger
