About the Role

As the EMEA Paralegal, you will be supporting the legal team in London which is composed of the General Counsel and two solicitors. Your responsibilities will vary and will include assisting on a wide variety of legal projects and challenges across all Bravura Solutions’ departments & countries of operation in the EMEA region. As the EMEA Paralegal, you will be required to consistently deliver high quality legal services to the group across Bravura’s full range of solutions; to build and maintain rewarding relationships with existing and new clients and contacts; and to develop personal expertise. This is an exciting role for someone looking to further their experience in a fast paced FinTech in the heart of the city. Main activities

  • Helping the Legal team with commercial relationships with prospects, customers, partners and suppliers in EMEA, in particular confidentiality agreements, software licensing, services agreements, and general commercial relationships
  • Contract management activities including maintenance of contract spreadsheets that set out expiry dates, extension/renewal dates
  • Assist with providing Company Secretarial services for the Bravura group in EMEA
  • Legal research as required
  • Advising on data protection, real estate, insurance and other general matters
  • Assisting generally with transactions
  • Assisting with training across the global legal team

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • Experience working as an in-house Paralegal in a software organisation
  • An undergraduate or graduate law degree or law conversion qualification, preferably from the UK / Australia or another common law jurisdiction
  • Fluency in English, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • 2-3 year’s experience preferably gained in-house
  • LPC is highly desirable
  • Able to clearly present alternatives and proposed solutions
  • Strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to apply judgement to broaden influence
