What you’ll be doing

In this role you’ll be providing administrative support to the legal team in Sydney, whilst gaining exposure to a variety of work, including company secretarial, ASX compliance and commercial agreements. You’ll also be relied on for your willingness to roll up your sleeves and assist on legal projects and challenges across all Bravura Solutions’ departments and countries of operation in the Asia Pacific region.


Your new team

You’ll report to the Senior Legal Counsel – APAC who is approachable, collaborative and highly supportive. Working cohesively with the team will see you quickly gain exposure to the business and its senior stakeholders whilst taking on more responsibilities as the business grows.

Main activities

  • Reviewing commercial agreements and addressing legal queries for a wide range of projects
  • Assisting with company secretarial work for the Bravura group in APAC
  • Managing the company’s IP portfolio, including trademark registrations
  • Conducting legal research on topics such as e-commerce and technology, intellectual property, advertising, and privacy and data protection
  • Creating and improving legal processes
  • Preparing and assisting with legal education and training for different teams across the business
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the APAC Legal team

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

Your drive and desire to pursue a career within law will enable your success in this role. You’re a self-starter with bags of enthusiasm a “never say never” attitude and a great sense of humour!

Other skills include: 

  • Experience as either a paralegal or a secretary to a senior lawyer
  • An undergraduate or graduate law degree or law conversion qualification, preferably from the UK / Australia or another common law jurisdiction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distinguish between business and technical audiences
  • Able to clearly present alternatives and proposed solutions
  • Strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Ability to apply judgement to broaden influence #LI-PRIORITY
