About the role

You will be responsible for facilitating quality outcomes through the application of consistent and best practice. Documentation of working processes and global governance of the process through application of a control and audit framework.

The role will ensure that targeted reporting / dashboards are made available to internal and external stakeholders at appropriate milestones.

Time zone differences will mean flexible working arrangements are necessary, and inter-continental travel will be required

Main activities

  • Owning to DMO wiki space and ensuring its information is accurate and up to date
  • Documenting and maintaining the processes underpinning the Sonata SDLC
  • Documenting and Implementing the Sonata Control Framework globally and consistently.
  • Working with Delivery Managers (DMs), Sprint Masters (ADMs) and Development Scrums to ensure that the process is being adhered to throughout the SDLC
  • Implementing control and reporting through the control framework and initiating remediation action where required including notification to impacted stakeholders.
  • Liaison with the risk manager. Implementation of process to remediate risk and resolve issues. Reporting business risks as identified.
  • Working with Delivery Managers (DMs), Sprint Masters (ADMs) and Development Scrums to consistently evaluate existing processes, procedures, audit points and reporting to ensure that they continue to be relevant, efficient and cost effective. To promote and instil a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Working closely with the Sonata Release Manager to ensure exit criteria are satisfied.
  • To ensure ADMs are meeting their planned milestones and facilitate resolution of any impediments.
  • To work with key stakeholders outside of the Sonata Engineering Division to evaluate and improve processes which span divisions. Teams will include Professional Services, Support and The Sonata Product Team.
  • Working to ensure suitable coverage across all Development Scrums in all regions.

Key Skills

  • Effective leadership, coordination, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
  • Good technical background within a development environment
  • Strong experience of agile development methodologies
  • Strong understanding and application of Project Management methodologies
  • Strong understanding and application of change management competencies.
  • Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately to all levels of the Bravura organisation including the Executive.
  • Experience in the delivery of complex commercial software development projects to budget, time and quality
  • Knowledge of industry standard methodologies, tools and processes for software development.
  • Experience of JIRA

Typical Experience

  • Experience of Bravura‚Äôs Sonata SDLC and associated delivery processes.
  • Good experience of waterfall and agile SDLCs
  • Formal project management qualifications desirable
  • Extensive experience working within a service delivery environment, ideally a software house
