About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a experience Procurement Manager to join us on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role will entail the end to end procurement process in the IT category including supplier sourcing and relationship management, contract review and negotiations, activities covering the procure to pay process cost management and ensuring compliance with contracts and license usage.

Main activities

  • To have an understanding of the scope and terms of the existing IT contracts
  • Ensure contract formalities are observed and ensure a comprehensive record of contract communications and documentation is maintained.
  • Track interpretations of business requirements into contractual provisions.
  • Monitor contract performance from an invoicing / financial perspective and prepare and deliver management reports.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with parties involved with the supplier agreements
  • To brief relevant parties on contractual milestones and obligations.
  • Provide analytical support to model and assess the viability of supplier services
  • Manage 3rd party software procurement and licensing requirements.
  • Manage and maintain the Software Asset Management tool (Spider/Software One).
  • Management of invoicing process and procedures.
  • The role will involve sourcing and negotiating future third party supply agreements
  • Support other departments/offices in the commercial negotiation of infrastructure contracts.
  • Provide administration support for the purchasing function, placing purchase orders, gaining signature authority and general governance around the process.
  • Provide input to overall EMEA budgets
  • Provide annual Software budgets
  • Provide monthly updated cash forecasts

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience;

  • Proven experience within a senior procurement type role
  • Experience of procurement procedures, knowledge and application of service contracts
  • Good understanding of Software licensing and understanding of how to build and maintain budgets
  • Contract management experience in an IT/Technology environment
  • Ability to quickly assimilate and retain detail of contract
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A first class communicator
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Project Management experience
