About your role

Your primary role is to act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business functionality for Sonata, Bravura’s leading wealth management software solution. This includes validation of business functional requirements and associated business solutions to ensure that the product remains a global, generic, market leading, fit for purpose solution. Your role will also involve providing the ‘product governance’ function for new functionality being added to the system for both external client and R&D projects and maintains essential product documentation and performs product acceptance testing.

Main activities

  • Review Impact Assessments and Business Solution Documents for roadmap items, client sponsored change and regulatory items
  • Co-ordinate generic fit for purpose business solution covering all projects and regions with project based consultants, development designers and global product team.
  • Quality check and review of developments delivered against approved business solutions via acceptance testing, development demonstrations or other means.
  • Ensure appropriate coverage for regulatory compliance
  • Produce and maintain Sonata product documentation, such as functional overviews, delivery roadmaps
  • Participate in high level gap analysis workshops with clients/ prospects, identify gaps, present solutions and were necessary obtain estimates
  • Provide SME support to project consulting and development design teams
  • Ability to demonstrate segment capabilities in Sonata and support pre-sales demonstration environment
  • Assist pre-sales team with completion of RFI and RFP’s

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • Understanding of core components of software development, product development/support and project management methodologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to tailor communications to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strong client relationship skills at senior levels with focus on influencing and negotiation
  • Ability to adapt to conflicting priorities with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Analysis, assessment and problem solving skills
  • Has a deep understanding of one or more of the markets Bravura operates in – by geography and/or product line
  • Will have both business and systems experience in relevant markets #LI-PRIORITY
