About this role

Reporting to the Head of Client Delivery you will take responsibility for the program management for one of our largest Australian clients. The purpose of this position is to oversee and lead complex programmes of work with a focus on excellence and timely delivery to our customers. You will be the client’s first escalation point for software and consulting services and will be responsible for managing outcomes that are mutually beneficial to the client and the Company.

Main activities

  • Lead a team of highly intelligent, technical minds as you focus on bringing positive change
  • Manage effective delivery of all services conducted for the client, including day to day services (billable or non-billable) and projects
  • Manage MS Project schedules, invoices, and financials
  • Work closely with the client to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable products, services, and upgrade guidance
  • Understand the customer’s objectives, buying criteria and decision-making processes and forming long term business partnerships in order to promote the organisation as a quality supplier
  • Co-ordinate, track and manage activities and deliverables to achieve outcomes, identify and develop mitigation strategies for interdependencies and issues as well as manage and resolve potential conflicts

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • Highly experienced collaborative senior leader – someone with the gravitas to command respect as well as camaraderie from direct reports and key stakeholders.
  • Strong transformational and leadership skills
  • Experience in the wealth management and technology industries
  • Strong stakeholder management, planning, decision making, and time management skills
  • Ability to achieve strong operational results and translate client needs into a complete solution
  • Experience in program management or project management, with the ability to manage large external clients
  • Experience working on large/complex programs across multiple business units and platforms
  • Structured problem-solving methodology and analytical capability
