About the Role

Bravura Solutions is experiencing strong demand for our flagship product Sonata and are seeking to recruit an Implementation Director to be part of our growth journey in South Africa and abroad. The Implementation Director is a core leader of a layered, multi-disciplinary team responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing a business solution.

The Implementation Director will act as a key part of the senior management team within Bravura Solutions’ EMEA Wealth Management division. The role offers the opportunity to be both delivery and strategy focused and the ability to work with high profile financial services clients. The role is heavily client facing with responsibilities including effective delivery and commercial management. This role requires a hands-on approach and there is a need to be focused on the detail of the planning and delivery.

Main activities

  • Responsible for managing a key client account for Bravura ensuring delivery against contracted commitments
  • Management of client commercials
  • Creating of Statements of Work
  • Fully accountable for the delivery of the end-end project(s)
  • Lead long term planning with clients including projects, product changes and use of Bravura services
  • Provides a focus of accountability for the delivery of client projects and programmes, meeting cost, time and quality targets
  • Providing mentorship and line management to relevant staff in accordance with Bravura Solutions’ processes and policies, including staff development and performance management
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and all levels (including “C” level)
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting, internally and externally, and ensuring that appropriate management information is available on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, as appropriate, including inputting to monthly executive / board reporting
  • Active participation in the sales lifecycle

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • Educated to degree level or having equivalent industry experience
  • Proven understanding of the business environment within which Bravura operates
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodology (ideally PRINCE2)
  • Proven change management experience in a senior role within a technology company supporting the financial services industry
  • Experienced in project delivery from a Supplier perspective
  • Domain knowledge of the wealth management or platform industry
  • Experienced in client relationship management, especially senior stakeholders
  • Commercial management, contract management
  • Experience of leading multiple programmes / projects across different locations
  • Likely to have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the industry and domain performing similar roles
