Your new role

You’ll be joining at an exciting time for Bravura Solutions where you will be responsible for managing and delivering large sized ($5m+ implementation) end-to-end delivery of IT projects to new customers of Bravura’s flagship next generation Wealth Management platform, Sonata. Following implementation, you will be responsible for managing the transition of the platform into BAU and play an ongoing role in servicing the customer.

Our projects cover all aspects from the technical delivery (i.e. migration, integration, configuration and development), management of key stakeholder relationships, as well as change management. You will work in partnership with our Principal Consultants. You’ll be accountable for delivering projects in a profitable manner, delivering quality and on time outcomes for our clients. This extends to BAU where the ongoing customer relationship and software deliveries will need to be managed.

You will be hands-on in creating and executing workable solutions, configuring and overseeing projects from initiation through to delivery.

Main activities

  • Managing Software Development Lifecycle of a large configuration, integration and development build
  • Controlling release management processes from installation and scoping, to testing and acceptance
  • Controlling project design and planning activities associated for system implementations, upgrades, enhancement and internal product development projects
  • Defining, sourcing and managing necessary project resources
  • Controlling project schedules to ensure that necessary modules and programs are completed according to the project plan
  • Establishing, managing and reporting on project budget(s), analysing budget variances and recommending appropriate action

Your other skills include:

  • At minimum, 5 years’ experience in software implementations within a highly complex client/vendor environment
  • Demonstrated experience with Australian Wrap , Platforms, Investments or retail superannuation implementations desirable
  • A background in Superannuation, Life Insurance or at a minimum, an associated financial services industry favourable.
  • Working knowledge and application of Project Management competencies including scope, time, costs, quality, communications, risk, procurement, and integration
  • Sound understanding and application of change management competencies
  • Ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies
  • Financial literacy to forecast and manage project budgets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distinguish between your business and technical audiences
  • Sound organisation and prioritisation skills, able to manage own and team goals and deliverables
  • A self-starter who is motivated and accountable with strong organisational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) and Project Web Access (PWA)
