About the Role

Our Funds Administration team based in London is looking for a Project Manager to specialise in software implementations for our high-profile client base across the UK. The role will require you to work on new implementations, post-implementations and upgrades with the opportunity to take ownership of all aspects of project delivery.

This position will provide you with the ability to manage several projects concurrently and offers accountability for all aspects of project delivery including: confirming project activities are on schedule, maintaining the budget, recording issues and risks and managing change requests. You will be controlling the definition of project requirements for high level solutions and managing the issues, risks, dependencies and changes in scope.

Main activities

  • Establishing and managing effective project operations with a focus on quality delivery
  • Leading distributed teams of project employees operating on complex IT projects, delivering application enhancements, implementations and resolving defects
  • Controlling the definition of project requirements and high-level solutions
  • Monitoring project progress and taking any corrective actions to ensure the project is delivered within the agreed timescales and costs
  • Co-ordinating internal resources to deliver the components of the implementation by the agreed deadlines
  • Maintaining strict change control procedures and ensuring all changes are communicated internally and to the client
  • producing monthly reports of effort expended and the associated costs
  • Acting as the main point of contact between the client and Bravura for all tasks and issues for the duration of the project
  • ensuring that the project implementation is fully documented to Bravura standards
  • Providing project status reports to the client

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • Proven experience in the delivery of end-end software implementation projects
  • Financial Services experience – preferably with a working knowledge of Transfer Agency and/or Wealth Management
  • Experience working with external clients
  • Strong understanding and application of Project Management competencies including: scope, time, costs, quality, communications, risk, procurement, and integration
  • Strong understanding of business requirements and technical limitations as determined by the application architecture
  • A solid understanding and application of change management competencies
  • Financial literacy and ability to forecast and manage multiple project budgets
  • The ability to manage the competing demands of multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and PRINCE 2 methodologies would be beneficial
