Your new role

You’ll be joining at a pivotal time for Bravura Solutions where you will play a fundamental role in taking lead on enhancing our platform offering across the APAC region with a proven delivery model to back it. You will do this through utilising your existing experience within the platforms and investment domain and providing chargeable, expert level professional services to clients.

You’ll also be accountable for providing detailed and in-depth knowledge of the system, the market and technical environment to deliver successful projects as a subject matter expert. You will assimilate complex business issues and create workable solutions for our customers that cover technical, data, business and commercial elements, whilst ensuring the project is implemented in accordance with the Bravura Implementation Methodology.

Working in conjunction with the Project Manager and Principal Consultant you will be hands-on in creating workable solutions, configuring and managing projects from initiation through to delivery.

Main activities

  • Research and Development analysis to continuously innovate and improve our products
  • Lead consulting activities during implementation including scoping of requirements, defining configuration and enhancements and contribute in Client/Vendor workshops
  • Be responsible and accountable for defined assignments within the implementation project/s
  • Produce high quality documentation, including requirements and solution documents for any enhancements to the system
  • Liaise with clients during installation and testing of developed solutions or products
  • Deal directly with Development Teams to facilitate the creation and development of enhancements for clients.

Your other skills include:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in enterprise software implementations
  • Demonstrated experience working in retail financial services (e.g. Australian Wrap and Platforms or Investment businesses).
  • Tax expertise in both superannuation and non-superannuation products (desirable, not mandatory)
  • Previous background in continuous R&D
  • Retail Superannuation (desirable, not mandatory)
  • Operational administration experience – g. monthly processes, statements, etc.
  • Understanding of core components of software development, product development and system support
  • Some technical background, e.g. basic SQL Queries (desirable, not mandatory)
  • An analytical mind to identify trends in incidents and underlying problems
  • Proven client facing consultancy and relationship skills within a large commercial environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distinguish between your business and technical audiences
  • Sound organisation and prioritisation skills, able to manage own goals and deliverables
  • Ability to travel interstate and internationally if required
