In this role you will be hands-on in creating and executing workable solutions, configuring and overseeing projects from initiation through to delivery with P&L responsibility.

Main activities

  • Managing Software Development Lifecycle of a large development and configuration build to Client Go Live.
  • Controlling release management processes from installation and scoping, to testing and acceptance
  • Controlling project design and planning activities associated for system implementations, upgrades, enhancement and internal product development projects
  • Defining, sourcing and managing necessary project resources
  • Controlling project schedules to ensure that necessary modules and programs are completed according to the project plan
  • Establishing, managing and reporting on project budget(s), analysing budget variances and taking appropriate action

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • You will enjoy being in a hands-on role and motivated by building productive working relationships
  • Able to demonstrate a strong background in software implementations within a highly complex client/vendor environment
  • A background in Wealth Management or at a minimum, an associated financial services industry or alternatively managing SAP/Oracle applications
  • Project Management competencies including scope, time, costs, quality, communications, risk, procurement, and integration
  • Ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning across a range of technologies
  • Financial literacy to forecast and manage project budgets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distinguish between your business and technical audiences
  • Sound organisation and prioritisation skills, able to manage own and team goals and deliverables
  • Experienced and credible at steering group level combined with excellent stakeholder management skills
