About the role

The Sonata Cloud Proposition Manager is responsible for defining the Sonata hosted options in EMEA for Bravura Solutions’ current and prospective customers. The role is responsible for defining the full lifecycle of managed services offerings, including public cloud, private cloud, and client on premise application management services across Sonata and ancillary third-party products such as Autorek.

The Sonata Cloud Proposition Manager is responsible for presales engagement and will ensure prospective customers are provided with straight forward hosting options with clear pricing models and are guided through an engagement process from initial enquiry to contract signature.

Main activities

  • Define and promote standard hosting models including positioning, messaging, and sales strategy
  • Ensure senior management is aligned with the sales strategy
  • Create and maintain a sales process from initial interest through to contract
  • Work with the Bravura development and infrastructure teams, external vendors, and the wider DevOps community to develop and price the hosting models
  • Create and maintain a process to keep hosting models and prices up to date
  • Create all collateral needed by the Sales teams to be able to effectively position the Sonata proposition.
  • Create commonly needed re-useable content that can be leveraged for RFIs / RFPs and complete RFIs/RFPs as necessary
  • Identification of additional revenue opportunities with existing client base (hosted and non-hosted)
  • Define Proof of Concepts / Demos and engage with operational teams to get them built

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • Proven experience with understanding of public and private cloud solutions and designing solutions on cloud hosting platforms.
  • Good understanding of data centre operations
  • Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform public cloud offerings and architecture
  • Migration experience and knowledge of applications and data between data centres and cloud hosting solutions
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Package).
  • Software/IT development experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack
