About the Role

Bravura Solutions is currently looking for a well-rounded Technical Programme Delivery Manager to join our Technical Operations team based in the heart of the city. The role boasts the opportunity to take ownership of end-end Technical Programme Delivery working across both infrastructure and application based projects. The position will give you exposure to cutting edge technology, the ability to work with third party suppliers and membership in a strong, forward-thinking team of experts.

The role requires someone who will have a strong grasp of governance & reporting and the ability to maintain a diverse, significant workload. The Technical Programme Delivery Manager will have the chance to engage with employees at all levels within the organisation and will have direct access to C-Level executives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a track record of project delivery, governance and financial expertise and experience working across a range of technologies.

Main activities

  • Establishing and managing effective technical programme operations with a focus on quality delivery
  • Maintenance of technical project plans and timely management of actual effort and remaining work
  • Liaising closely with 3rd party suppliers on all aspects of project work streams
  • Maintenance of management systems with a focus on ensuring project activities are both accurate and up to date
  • Progress to internal management and senior stakeholders
  • Full project budget management
  • Advising on infrastructure environment requirements for data centre deployments
  • Production of Technical design
  • Production of technical configuration documentation

To be successful in this role candidates will require:

  • Proven experience within a financial services environment or a technology company supporting the financial services industry
  • Proven experience of Project Management competencies including: scope, time, costs, quality, communications, risk, procurement, and integration
  • Evidence of the ability to manage the competing demands of multiple projects
  • Thorough understanding and application of change management competencies
  • Advanced knowledge of software platform architectures, including deployment models and integration
  • Full understanding of the SDLC
  • Knowledge of physical infrastructure and deployment models
  • Strong financial literacy with the ability to forecast and manage multiple project budgets
  • Proven experience of technical and design skills and analytical ability
  • A proficient negotiator with the ability to influence and liaise across all levels
  • Ability to work in a team environment and respond positively to tight deadlines
  • Understanding of project methodologies (ITIL, Prince 2, CobiT)
