Bravura Solutions appoints Aubrey Nestor to meet Rufus transfer agency platform demand

London, 20 June 2011 (ASX: BVA) – Bravura Solutions Limited (Bravura) – a leading global supplier of transfer agency and wealth management software applications and professional services – today announced the immediate appointment of Aubrey Nestor as Product Manager for Rufus, the company’s market-leading transfer agency platform across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

In his new role Aubrey will be responsible for the further development of Bravura’s Rufus transfer agency solution to meet current and future client demand. He will define and manage the product roadmap, as well as managing Bravura’s dedicated team of business architects and technical authors. Aubrey will also continue his role as Product Manager for Bravura’s Babel STP fund messaging solution.

Commenting on his appointment, Aubrey said: “I’m looking forward to developing the Rufus platform in line with market demand and building on the advanced functionality it already offers. Our clients are extremely important to us and I intend to focus on maintaining the solid and long-standing relationships we already have, as well as building new connections and meeting business targets.”

Prior to his promotion, Aubrey held the position of Product Architect at Bravura. He has over 14 years’ experience, working primarily with Rufus and has been a key influence on many of the major enhancements undertaken during this period. These include the introduction of OEICs, ISAs, Fund Supermarkets, Integrated Foreign Exchange and Money Market fund functionality. He was also heavily involved in a major global transfer agency technology refresh project that moved Rufus forward onto a Service Orientated Architecture (SOA).

Rufus is a global transfer agency solution which supports the global distribution of funds domiciled in the UK, Luxembourg, Dublin and the Channel Islands. It offers extensive functionality including multi-currency, integrated FX processing, flexible reporting, multi-language, real-time access and audit trails. Rufus supports the administration of unit trusts, ICVCS (e.g. OEICs, SICAVs), money market funds, cash, equities, investment trusts, FCPs, ISAs and PAIFs. It also supports open architecture products like fund supermarkets.
