London, 16 August 2012 – Bravura Solutions Limited (Bravura) today announced the appointment of Alex Hofmann to its propositions team. Based in Bravura’s London office, Alex will be responsible for growing the Sonata wealth management business in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Parsons commented: “The appointment of Alex is an important step forward in the development of our propositions team capability and his sales experience will be invaluable as we continue to focus on the wrap platform market. We have made a significant and long-term investment in Sonata, a modern technology solution that combines life insurance, pensions and investment administration capabilities across a single product architecture.”

Hofmann said: “This is an exciting new role and I am delighted to be joining the team at a time of rapid expansion. Sonata, our new wealth management software solution is at the cutting-edge of wrap platform technology and I look forward to helping Bravura to expand in the UK and other territories.

“Advised assets held on UK platforms are estimated to be in excess of £190 billion and this is likely to grow further in the wake of the Retail Distribution Review. As the platform market matures, advisers will place greater emphasis on client service and the range of assets and functionality which a platform can provide.
