Bravura Solutions structures for growth with expansion of leadership team

Sydney, 18 May 2017 – Leading financial software provider Bravura Solutions Limited (Bravura) has expanded its executive leadership team with the recent appointment of Ramarao Velpuri as Global Head of Engineering for its wealth management division.

Velpuri will lead software engineering globally for the business, focused on the enhancement of the company’s development capabilities, with an emphasis on Sonata — Bravura’s next-generation wealth management software for superannuation, pensions, investments, platforms and life insurance. The appointment comes as the company enters a new phase of growth, with continued client interest in both APAC and EMEA regions, particularly South Africa.

Velpuri commented, “It is an exciting time to take on this role and I look forward to helping our clients benefit from Bravura’s operational scale and technology expertise.”

Prior to joining Bravura, Velpuri was Vice President at Capsilon Corporation. He has also held senior executive roles at CA Technologies and notably Oracle, where he ran global product development and authored nine books on Oracle technology. In collaboration with the International Institute of Information Technology, he also established the University Innovation Centre in Hyderabad.
